JEM Timpanogos Great Basin Wild Flowers

DESCRIPTION: Mt Timpanogos trail, just off the Alpine Loop Hwy, Utah: There is nothing as beautiful as hiking through scenic meadow after meadow of beautiful Wild Flowers on this trail. To see these flowers, one needs to hike the trail when most, but not quite all, of the snow has melted off of the trail. There are two trails to Timp Summit, this one being the one from Timpanokee, which follows an easier grade through some canyons, than the other trail from Aspen Grove. Hiking this trail in the spring takes one across snow melt areas where there are small streams, creeks, ponds and a lot of beautiful water scenes.
