JEM Mt Timpanogos Wild Flowers

DESCRIPTION: Mt Timpanogos trail, just off the Alpine Loop Hwy, Utah: This is scene is most beautiful,and hiking through scenic meadow after meadow of beautiful Wild Flowers on this trail gives one connectivity with nature. Generally, to see these flowers, one needs to hike the trail when most but not quite all of the snow has melted off of the trail. In 2007 the snow melted early so we hiked in early July, which is earlier than usual, but even with our early attempt, the flowers had bloomed earlier and we saw them in a state of dying out. Then what a surprise it was hiking in early August, after a couple of weeks of summer thunderstorms, that a second round of summer flowers were in bloom, hence we still were able to photograph Timp. wild flowers in 2007.
