The Bodie Island Light Station, N.C.
The Bodie Island Lighthouse and its double keeper's quarters are situated midway between the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound within the protection of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Built by the U.S. Light-House Board in 1872 during the Golden Era of American lighthouse building, its quiet beauty does not reveal man's struggle to keep a light here. Available in both horizontal and vertical format.
