This is a Greater Egret chasing mice in the woodpile, and warily eying me in the background.

This picture was taken in Henderson Nevada at the bird preserve. This is a greater egret who was hunting mice in the woodpile she is sitting on. A pond with rippling water is in the background. This was taken with a Canon 5D and a 600 mm L Lens.
