JEM Mt Timpanogos Wild Flowers

DESCRIPTION: Mt Timpanogos trail, just off the Alpine Loop Hwy, Utah: There is nothing as beautiful as hiking through scenic meadow after meadow of beautiful Wild Flowers on this trail. To see these flowers, one needs to hike the trail when most, but not quite all, of the snow has melted off of the trail. Hiking temperatures and Wild Flower sightings are often ideal when hiking between the 7,000 to 11,000 foot level during the late summer and early autumn days. This photo was taken while hiking through the Timpanogos Great Basin, about 10,500 feet in elevation.
