DESCRIPTION: Battle Creek to Big Baldy trail near Lindon, Utah: This photo was taken from the top of Big Baldy. Looking up at the 11,000 foot + Mt Timpanogos, though covered with snow during the summer, makes Timpanogos seem not so high, unless you realize you are at 8,300 foot in elevation. The clouds beautifully shade the scenic mountain forest, the rocks, the green grass and the snow. The Timpanogos Summit is 11,400 feet.
