If Michael Angelo was right when he said “God is in the details,” then this rustic, eclectic still life is by far the Godliest photograph that I have ever taken. It’s just a bunch of stuff that may still be for sale at Blacktail Mountain Books, 42 First Ave. West. My wife and I were lucky enough to stumble into this charming little book store one ordinary day while exploring Kalispell, Montana. Jim Handcock was kind enough to let me take this photograph of a bookcase of items for sale. This picture is not staged or doctored in any way – you can probably still find it as is if you hurry on over right now. Jim will probably still be there and he will gladly show you the photo album of his nature photographs.
