Several times a year at Fort Clinch State Park, Amelia Island, Florida, dedicated living historians recreate life at the fort as it was during the War Between the States. This photo of a union officer gazing out of his office window was taken during one of these special events. It's a very thought provoking scene. We're brought to wonder what things a union officer could have been thinking as he considered his responsibilities to his men, his family, and his war-torn country – "Hmmm...wonder what's for supper?"
