Ground Zero in New York City after 911
This photograph was taken at Ground Zero in New York City after 911. I was struck by the way the melted steel formed a cross and the way the sun behind it appeared to be a disk in the sky. It gave the image a spiritual quality. The colors in this photo are digitally enhanced to accentuate the monochrome look and to bring out the sun.
