Emerald Lake, Canada
This was taken at Emerald Lake in the Canadian Rockies. This quiet little beautiful lake has nice cabins to stay in, canoes to paddle around the lake (or do fishing if you so desire), glacier fed emerald green water, and a view that is hard to beat. Absolutely one of the best places we've ever found on one of our road trips. The color comes from the minerals found in the glacier that feeds the lake. It is a "don't miss it" if you are ever in the Canadian Rockies just NW of Lake Louise (west of Field).
