Mt. Robson in Canada and a Estoril Blue BMW M Roadster
When taking photos of mountains it is often difficult to get a good foreground. Sometimes I prefer to use the car as foreground. This photo is of Mt. Robson in Canada. Mount Robson Provincial Park, is along the British Columbia/Alberta border and is adjacent to Jasper National Park. It has long been a popular destination for exciting outdoor adventure vacations. This beautiful park is situated within the North Continental Range of the Canadian Rockies with its characteristic rugged peaks, pristine glacial lakes and rivers, and steep forested valleys. The park’s most famous peak is Mount Robson, towering 3,954 metres over its western entrance. The car is a 2001 BMW M Roadster or MZ3 as some often refer to them. They are the "motorsports" version of the Z3, basically a "track" car. For only 2 years BMW made the S54 engine available in the USA. It boasts 315 hp and 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. With 11/1 compression and redline of 7500 rpms it is a real race horse of a car.
