This image was captured while on a trip near the Tampa Florida area. Great Blue Herons are always a subject I like a lot. I particularly like the way the bird is reflected in the water in this image. While they can stand perfectly still for what seems like hours on end, the very slight ripples around the legs depict a little motion and add a special interest to the subject.
