DESCRIPTION: These falls are undeniably one of the world's most beautiful "garden" falls. This view is hidden to the casual passer by and hikers must part from the trail and work their way down the mountain into the creek canyon level below in order to see it. These falls are 6 to 10 feet wide (depending on the season and the amount of flow) and 35 feet high. Hip waders were used to ford into this creek in the Pacific NW and center these falls through the nearly vertical canyon walls. They are also listed on a website called "America's Best and Top Ten Water Falls”, so they are not really very secret. Additional perspective is gained by knowing this photo was taken more than 400 feet away from the falls.
