They are tucked away where those who pass by on the area hiking trail never see this view, hence the label of secret falls. This view is only available if one parts from the trail and works their way down the mountain into the creek canyon level below. 1.8 miles up Eagle Creek (Columbia Gorge, Oregon) these falls are found through the nearly vertical canyon walls downstream--looking upstream at the falls.
